CyberKnights
CyberKnights are specially trained students and staff that work for Computer Services who can help you learn how to use campus labs, software and services that will make learning online much easier. CyberKnights and the ability to access Computer Service's expanded Help Desk services were made possible by a UCF Strategic Planning Grant awarded in the summer of 1998.
They can assist you with:
Beginning spring 1998, you can call, send e-mail and walk in for help at the UCF Cyber Center (Computer Center, main campus)
So when you need computer assistance at UCF for completing your classwork, look for the CyberKnight logo to get help.
*Note: CyberKnights are not experts at all software packages that professors
assign for classwork. Rather, they are familiar with all common software and
special software used at UCF for learning online.

The Computer Learning Center
The Computer Learning Center provides "Up to Speed Classes" with professional manuals and sample data on the following:

Additonal applications are taught as new Microsoft Office Versions are released.
Most classes are six hours long for each level, split into three-hour sessions on two different days. There are 2 to 4 levels of most subjects. The class costs $35.00: $14.95 for the manual and $20.05 for the instructor's time. The manuals may be purchased separately at the Computer Store for those who prefer to study on their own or in advance of a class.
